Zoloft is a medication used to treat depression and is classified under a category of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Inform the doctor of any regular use of other drugs that cause drowsiness (cold or allergy medicine, sedative painkillers, sleeping pills, muscle relaxants, and medicine for epileptic episodes or seizures and panic attacks). They may increase the sleepiness and lethargy affected by Zoloft.
